Indian Cultural Centre will soon be set up in Iran: Ali Khamenei Ali Ghazi Askar

Ties between India and Iran have strengthened during the recent years and Indian Cultural Centre will soon be set up in Iran. Iran’s Hajj Mission Chairman Ali Khamenei Ali Ghazi Askar told this while talking to press persons. He revealed that as the talks with Saudi government failed Iranian Hajj aspirants will not go for Hajj pilgrimage this year.

Ali Ghazi refuted the allegations that Iranian pilgrims were responsible for last year’s stampede during Hajj. He told Iran has documentary evidence that the stampede occurred as the pilgrims were stopped for Jamarat.

Citing Indo-Iranian agreement he said that the agreement made to develop historical dam will benefit both the countries. Ali Askar invited Secretary Minority Welfare and Special Officer Hajj Committee to visit Iran.
