New Delhi: Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani is learnt to have interacted with members of RSS and ABVP at an event today.
However, there was no official word on what transpired in the meeting held in the aftermath of the JNU row and the suicide by Rohith Vemula in Hyderabad University.
Sources said that Irani was the chief guest the an event organised by an NGO here where several leaders of ABVP, BJP’s student wing, and members of RSS were present.
One of the participants at the event said the minister stayed there for about an hour, but “it was a public interaction with nearly 300 people present there
