Jamiatul Quraish imposes 50000 fine on extravagant marriages

Hyderabad: Organisers of extravagant marriages will be slapped with a fine of Rs. 50000. Quraish community belonging to Jamiatul Quraish will have to abide by the rules and regulations made by Jamiatul Quraish. To review the implementation the Jamiat will form a separate task force.

Mr. Mohammed Saleem President Jamiatul Quraish Hyderabad and Vice President All India Jamiatul Quraish told that the ban will come into force from August 1 onwards so as to put a curb on extravagant marriages. The decision also includes simple engagement function, limiting other customs and ceremonies to houses, and one dish and one sweet menu in Nikah function. The violators will have to pay a fine of Rs. 50000.
