Jupally visits Beechupally, interacts with devotees at pushkar ghats

On the 11th day of Krishna Pushkaralu, Telangana Rural Development Minister Jupally Krishna Rao on Monday visited Beechupally pushkar ghat and inspected the arrangements made for the devotees there.

Speaking to mediapersons later, Krishna Rao said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao allocated huge funds for elaborate arrangements for the devotees so that they should not face any problem at the pushkar ghats. The minister also interacted with the devotees at the pushkar ghats and elicited their opinion about the arrangements. The devotees said the arrangements were good. As there was less water in the river at Beechupally, Krishna Rao advised the officials concerned to remove the fencing to some distance to ensure that the people can have holy dip without any difficulty.

Inspecting toilets at the pushkar ghats, the minister asked the sanitary personnel to keep the toilets clean always, otherwise stern action would be taken against the officials concerned. The Minister was accompanied by Zilla Parishad chairman Bandari Bhaskar, Deputy Inspector General Akun Sabarwal, ZPTC member Khaganath Reddy, pushkar ghat special officer Ranga Reddy and others. (NSS)
