Kavitha vows to end disparity between Old City and New City

Hyderabad: While campaigning for TRS candidate in Malakpet Municipal Division, Ms. Kavitha, TRS MP of Nizamabad and President of Telangana Jagruthi told that she would work for removing disparity between Old City and New City of Hyderabad. She appealed to the voters of Saidabad Municipal Ward to vote in favour of Ms. Swarnalatha Reddy.

She further told that the work which was not done during the past 60 years has been taken up by Mr. KCR. She also participated in the election campaign of TRS candidate for Indira Seva Sadan Municipal Ward.

Addressing the voters of Azampura Municipal Division, she alleged that the former Governments divided Old City and New City. She said that the real Hyderabad is located on the other side of Musi River which is called Old City. The political parties which have neglected Old City are seeking votes both from Old City and New City. She mentioned that people have tried TDP and local political party. She reiterated that Govt. of Telangana is not based on Hindus and the Muslims but it is based on poor and rich. Mr. KCR is making an attempt to ensure eradication of poverty.

If TRS wins elections, it will be a step forward for bridging the gap between Old City and New City. On this occasion, she mentioned various welfare schemes launched by TRS for the benefit of Minorities. She said that many girls remained unmarried due to financial difficulties. Within a year of the introduction of Shaadi Mubarak Scheme, more than 23 thousand girls benefited. Govt. of Telangana is giving Rs. 51000 for the marriage of poor Muslim girls. She also mentioned that Govt. of Telangana arranged Iftaar for the poor in masjids during Ramazan. Food grains and clothes were distributed among the poor Muslims.

In the same manner, food was distributed to the Christians on the occasion of Christmas. Clothes were also given to poor Christians.

She told that there is no need in Old City for racecourse which indulges in gambling. Old City needs a network of educational institutions.

Addressing a gathering at Azampura Chaman, Dy. CM of Telangana State, Mr. Mohammed Ali told that TRS Govt. wants to remove Racecourse and Jail from Old City. In these places, Educational Institutions and IT park would be established. He appealed to the voters of Malakpet and Azampura Municipal Divisions to vote in favour of TRS candidates. Present in the meeting were Mr. Mohammed Saleem, TRS MLC, Mr. Azam Ali Khurram, Mr. Inayath Ali Baqueri and the candidate for Azampura, Ms. Sada Lakshmi
