KCR failed to fulfil 12 % reservation promise: Digvijay Singh

There are two ‘Phekus’ (braggarts) in the country; one belongs to Delhi while the other is in Telangana, said Digvijay Singh, General Secretary All India Congress Committee while addressing a grand public meeting in old city of Hyderabad after a span of 3 decades. He took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and said that both the leaders are misleading the public. He also flayed MIM leadership saying that some opportunists are trying to create difference among the public in the name of threat to Islam. On one hand MIM says that Islam is in danger on the other hand RSS and its auxiliary organisations declare Hindu religion in danger and thus both are playing politics.

He slammed Narendra Modi and said that he failed to control inflation and to fulfil all his promises. Similarly Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao had promised 12% reservations to Muslims but failed to make it a reality.

Mr. Khursheed Ahmed Sayeed, National President Minority Congress, Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabbir, leader of opposition in Telangana Legislative Council, Mr. K Jana Reddy leader of opposition in Telangana legislative assembly, Captain Uttam Kumar Reddy, Mr. T Jivan Reddy, Mr. Khaja Fakhruddin, Mr. Shaikh Abdullah Sohail, Meraj Mohammed Ghouse and others were present on the occasion.
