YSRCP President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday took a holy dip at Punnami Ghat as part of the ongoing Krishna Pushkaralu. He offered Pinda Pradhanam to his late father YS Rajasekhara Reddy on the occasion.
Earlier, Jagan paid a visit to seer Jayendra Saraswathi and took his blessings. He also visited the spot at which five students drowned on Wednesday and condoled their deaths. Jagan met the victims’ families and consoled thems.
Meanwhile, Tollywood actor and TD MLA Balakrishna on Thursday took holy bath as part of the Krishna Pushkaralu at Somasila Pushkarghat in Mahbubnagar. He lauded the arrangements made by the state government for the Krishna fete. (INN)
