KTR Blasts Cong for Criticising Budget—Defends Debts.

Refuting the criticism of the opposition Parties,  mainly Congress party,  on the  budget introduced  in the State Legislature  for the year 2017-18, IT Minister KT Ramarao said that it was not correct on their  part to say that the state government was pushing  Telangana into debts and turning it as a debts Telangana. He said “it is  not debt,  but it is investment for the development of the state”.

Speaking to the media at TRSLP here on Tuesday, KTR said that every paisa spent today will come as an investment tomorrow. No state will develop without taking debts, he said and wondered as to why the Congress party leaders were misleading the people. The opposition parties were speaking without  awareness. It was not correct for  the opposition parties to fault the budget. The Congress party was getting shivering while seeing the budget.  Is it  wrong to get debts for the sake of repairing the state, which was collapsed in 60 year rule,   he asked.

He explained that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has allocated huge budget to strengthen the rural economic system. The Weavers, Yadavs, Kurumas, Gangaputras and Mudiraj community people indulged in celebrations for the allocations in the budget. All the people were welcoming the budget, he said and reminded that the Telangana GDP was more than Srilanka’s. The state government was striving to complete the irrigation projects as early as possible, he said and asked the opposition parties to tell as to why they were not in a position to digest the fact that some firms were coming forward to invest in Mission Bhagiratha scheme. He said that nobody is in a position to welcome  the Congress party across the country. He thanked the Chief Minister KCR and Finance Minister Etela Rajender for allocating Rs.1000 crore for GHMC.
