In a gesture of sorts, IT & Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao, who is active on social media, was responding to people’s woes and coming to their rescue from time to time. This time, he promised to provide financial help to a woman to undergo treatment for kidney ailment that needs Rs 3 lakh.
The 55-year old Karuna was running an orphanage and suffering from problem of kidneys failure for some time. A voluntary organization “Hridaya Spandana” urged the CMO through a twitter to provide Rs 3 lakh financial help to the woman for the treatment. On noticing it, KTR sought details and promised to see that funds are released. “Send me the details, will make sure she is helped,” KTR tweeted. (NSS)
