KTR meets Richard to strengthen bilateral ties


IT Minister KT Rama Rao today called on American Ambassador to India Richard Rahul Varma and sought his help for strengthening bilateral ties in industry, education, pharma, IT and other key sectors.

During the meeting, KTR apprised Rahul Varma about his successful US tour recently and response from various top notch industries and companies to invest in Telangana. Telangana State is a naturally partner of the US in some sectors and ready to strengthen ties in chosen sectors, he said, adding that Google, Microsoft and global companies are operating from Hyderabad and similar companies of international importance are queuing up.

Extending an invitation to visit to T Hub in the State, KTR the TS Government wants to have a tie-up with reputed US varsities for exchange and strengthening of the education programs. He also discussed about cyber security, animation, gaming and students facing problems in the US. The Ambassador promised to extend necessary cooperation to the youngest State of India to make US trip and get training and others. (NSS)
