IT and Industries Minister K Tarakarama Rao today urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to get prepared for Mission Tokyo 2020 to push more sportspersons from India to win the world level events.
Extending greetings to PV Sindhu for making it to Olympics Finals, KTR also appreciated her Badminton Coach Pullela Gopichand for making India proud with Sindhu’s victory. He expressed concern that India of one billion population has very poor representation at Olympics and “we need to prepare many such champions”. He appealed to the Prime Minister to start preparing for Mission Tokyo 2020 and roll out the best champions. (NSS)
