KTR vows to develop Siricilla

Hyderabad: IT & MAUD Minister KT Rama Rao today showered sops on his home segment of Siricilla when a group of leaders from the town met him here.
Speaking on the occasion, KT Rama Rao promised to develop the town into Greater Siricilla by giving it a complete facelift in about one-and-a-half years. Efforts will be made to include the town into Central sponsored Amruth scheme that will fetch Rs 60 crore for development, 100 per cent roads and toilets in three years will be completed. KTR stated that 1500 double bedroom houses were allotted to the town, he said that one lakh acres will be irrigated besides supplying safe drinking waters to every household.
Stating that he will give back to the town which promoted him as a leader and the minister, KTR said that Rs 30 cr sanctioned for outer ring road and will spend similar amount of through calling tenders. He also said that he will urge Chief Minister K Chandasekhar Rao to announce some financial package for weavers community in the town during his next visit to the town. The town will get Rs 10 cr worth Airtel Model School and an international standard driving school he said, adding that international level companies and institutions will come up here and expanding four lanes roads from the town to Siddipet in Medak and Kamareddy in Nizamabad. Noted companies like Bambino and Mafatlal have to open shop and provide jobs to the youth here, he said. (NSS)
