Late-comers turned away from Group II exam. centers in State

The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) officials manning Group-II examinations did not allow the candidates, who came late, into the examination hall at several places across the State. The TSPSC set up 1,916 examination centers across the State and the examination started peacefully. But the officials turned away seven candidates, who came late to the examination centers at Siddipet, two at Huzurabad, three at Kamareddy, two at Ramachandrapuram, two at Miryalaguda, 10 at Sangareddy and five at Mulugu.

Some eight lakh candidates applied for the 1,032 Group-II posts. On Friday, the candidates appeared for the first two papers and the remaining two papers examination will be held on Sunday. The TSPSC set up 1,916 examination centers at 73 places. The police and Revenue departments have been conducting the examination under the supervision of TSPSC. The candidates wrote first paper (General Studies, General Abilities) from 10 am to 12.30 pm. The candidates have written their second paper (History, Polity, Society) from 2.30pm to 5pm. The examination for all papers was in objective style and the TSPSC will not allow the candidates, who didn’t appear for the first paper. (NSS)
