Launching gurukul schools, a revolutionary step: Suman

Peddapally MP Balka Suman has said the opening of Gurukul Schools in the State was a revolutionary step by the TRS government.

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Suman said the previous governments failed to concentrate on education system, but the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao took a decision to strengthen the education system in the State. The State government has launched Gurukul Schools aiming the uplift of the SC, ST & BC sections in the State. The State government was implementing Dr B R Ambedkar’s ideals in the State, he said.

Reminding that the TRS government has increased Gurukul Schools from 270 to 487 after assuming power, Suman said the Chief Minister sanctioned 31 Women Residential Degree colleges in the State. The Opposition parties were indulging in unwanted criticism. “One knows the State government’s welfare programs if goes to people”, he said and asked TJAC chairman Prof. Kodandaram whether he didn’t see praises to the government from people. He said one who wanted golden Telangana can’t speak like Prof. Kodandaram.

Suman said the agenda of Prof. Kodandaram was already known to everyone in the State. Kodandaram was resorting to mudslinging at the State government continuously keeping something in his mind, he fumed. Suman said KCR strongly believes that Bangaru Telangana was possible only when education reaches poor and dalits. (NSS)
