Hyderabad: A 23-year-old man was accused of sneaking into the women’s bathroom and secretly filming while she was taking bath.
Venkatesh, who hails from Tirumalgiri in Suryapet district, was staying in Hyderabad since a year in Manikeshwar Nagar for rent to prepare for the competitive examinations.
He has hidden his mobile phone inside his neighbor’s washroom. The women, however, saw the phone and reported to her family members. The family informed the police.
The Osmania University (OU) police booked him for voyeurism and for outraging a woman’s modesty. Venkatesh confessed to the crime after the arrest.
A police officer said.“On Thursday he sneaked to one side of his neighbor’s house and kept the mobile phone near the ventilator from outside. He wanted to record the woman taking bath. However, the woman saw the phone and alerted the police.”
