Sonipat #Haryana A youth shot dead a Nepali girl for allegedly rejecting his marriage proposal and later committed suicide using the same pistol at Sersa Jati village here, police said on Thursday.
Pramod, who hailed from Uttar Pradesh, and Kajal, a Nepali citizen, were working in a Knudli-based company. They had rented separate apartments in Sersa village, DSP Pradip said.
Pramod wanted to marry the girl, but she rejected his proposal. Following which Pramod shot her dead with a country-made pistol. Later, he ended his life by firing the same weapon, the DSP said.
Their bodies were found from Pramod’s house last night, he said.
