A 30-year-old housewife was murdered allegedly by her husband following a minor tussle.
The incident occurred in Syed Nagar of Banjara Hills on Saturday morning. The victim, Shaheen Begum, reportedly had a fight with her husband Syed Akram, a bakery employee, on June 19. She had gone away to her parents’ house who live in the same area. She returned home on Saturday morning. When she came back after dropping her three daughters at their school, Akram hit her with a wooden stick on head. She died on the spot.
Banjara Hills police have registered a case of murder under Section 302 against her husband who has been taken into custody. (INN)
