Chandigarh: Monday night, a man lost 5,000 in gambling and forced his wife to have sex with his friend. The Rohtak resident victim filed a case against her husband for forcing her to have physical relations with his friend.
According to Hindustan Times, when she screamed out loudly her neighbours approached there and saved her.
The victim said they both had a love marriage in 2008 and after few years he got addicted to drinking and gambling. “He would often bring his friends home for drinks, who would molest me after being drunk,” she said.
Rahul and his friend were drinking and gambling at his home and when he loses the 5,000 to Sunil in gambling. He had no money to give to his friend and he handed his wife to Sunil and forced her to have sex with him.
When the victim shouted for help and when the neighbours approached Rahul and Sunil ran away from there and when the she complained about the incident her in-laws asked her to shut her mouth.
On Wednesday, her husband came back home and asked her to sign the divorce papers and to leave from his home.
The victim’s father complained to the police when the she told the incident to her father.
Rahul and Sunil were charged under the rape and other relevant IPC sections. “We have initiated an inquiry in the case. No one has been arrested yet. We have also booked the victim’s in-laws,” said the Women police station house officer inspector Garima.
