Hyderabad: During the calligraphy exhibition organized by Siasat Urdu Daily at Chicago, Mayor of Oak Brook, Illinois, US, Dr. Gopal Lal Malani showed keen interest in Urdu and Arabic Calligraphy. He said that he is interested in learning Calligraphy. He is a cardiologist by profession. During his meeting with Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily, he discussed various aspects of Calligraphy. He told Mr. Zahid Ali Khan that he is very much impressed with the beauty of Art of Calligraphy. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan explained the details of the calligraphic art.
It may be mentioned that Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, IFS, Consul General of India at Chicago had inaugurated Siasat’s Calligraphy Exhibition. Various calligraphic master pieces of noted calligraphers, Mr. Nayeem Saberi and Faheem Saberi are being exhibited in the exhibition. In addition to it, the paintings of Mr. Lateef Farooqui, Ms. Nasreen Sultana and Mr. Mohammed Mazheruddin are also displayed in the exhibition. A large number of Urdu and Arabic knowing people visited the exhibition which includes local businessman and social activists.
