Telangana TDLP leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao has alleged that Telangana State stood in second place across the nation and Medak district in first place in the State in farmers’ suicides.
Speaking to the media here on Sunday, Errabelli lashed out at Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao, who were representing Medak district, have miserably failed to explain the drought condition in the State to Centre. He said the Centre extended help to the States, which explained about drought conditions. He also alleged that the State has failed to submit a comprehensive report to the Centre and hence the latter was not releasing funds to the State. He said the TDP will fight against the State and Centre to do justice to the farmers. (NSS)
