Kuala Lumpur : Malaysia’s Deputy Transport Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Aziz Kaprawi has said the latest discovery of an object at Reunion Island presumed to be of MH370 could only be confirmed after a team of experts verify the same.

The Malaysian team comprises of experts from the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) and Malaysia Airlines.

A second possible piece from the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 was recently found on the French Indian Ocean island of La Reunion.

A DCA team is scheduled to meet with their Mozambican counterparts in the southern African country today to discuss on the discovery and bring back the debris which was found there.

Flight MH370 went missing while flying en-route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 227 passengers and 12 crew members on board, on the early morning of March 8, 2014.

Meanwhile, the Malaysian investigators will on Tuesday release an interim statement on MH370 while the Dewan Rakyat Speaker will deliver a speech to commemorate the second anniversary of the tragedy. (ANI)
