Rohtak: An eight-year-old girl was allegedly raped today by a youth in Meham town of Rohtak district, police said.
The medical examination of the minor confirmed rape following which the youth bas booked, they said.
The minor was raped by the accused in the afternoon. He used to supply milk at her house, Meham DSP Shamsher Singh said.
A hunt is on to nab the absconding accuses, he said while refusing to divulge further details about the incident.
“We are investigating…the culprit will soon be arrested,” Singh said.
