Minorities Welfare Dept. wasted one year of Civil Service aspirants

Hyderabad: No candidate would appear on behalf of Minorities Welfare Dept. for Civil Service (Prelim) examination scheduled to be held on Sunday. 7th August Dept. of Minorities Welfare failed to provide coaching to candidates belonging to Minorities to prepare them for Civil Service Examination. Who is responsible for wasting one year of these candidates?

It may be noted that centre for Educational Development of Minorities of Nizam College, OU which is fully funded by the Dept. of Minorities Welfare invited applications and conducted a screening test to select candidates for officering them Civil Service Coaching.

A three member Committee consisting of collector of Mr. Rahul Buja, IAS, Mr. Tafseer Iqbal IPS, DCP of LB Nagar and Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel, IAS. Secretary Dept. of Minorities Welfare.

The Committee was asked to select a suitable coaching centre for imparting training to all the 62 selected candidates. This sub-committee did not submit its report so far in this way, the selected candidates could not get coaching. Mr. A.K. Khan, IPS, DGP of ACB is overall incharge of Minorities Welfare schemes implementation.
