Modi condemns Kabul blast

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday condemned a terror attack in the Afghanistan capital that left at least 28 people dead and hundreds injured.

“I condemn the attack in Kabul,” Modi tweeted.

“I extend my condolences to bereaved families. Prayers with the injured for a speedy recovery.”

narendra modi A suicide bomber apparently tried to target a Secret Service Unit in central Kabul, near the Afghan presidential palace.

Many of the dead were civilians. The deafening explosion was followed by heavy gunfire by suspected Taliban militants.
