Modi govt striving to improve lot of poor: Dattatraya

Union minister for labour & employment Bandaru Dattatraya today said the BJP government at the Centre was working for the welfare of poor, downtrodden and backward classes in the country.

Addressing a meeting organized at State BJP party office here Sunday, Dattatraya said the BJP would propagate the welfare programs initiated by the Modi government during last two years. The main aim of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was to improve living conditions of poor and downtrodden youth by providing them employment, he added. He also alleged that the Congress and Left parties have been trying to create obstacles in the progress and development of the nation.

        Besides State party chief Dr K Laxaman, the meeting was attended by State party senior leaders including ex-president G Kishan Reddy, Khairtabad MLA Chintala Ramachandra reddy, B Venkat Reddy, ex-MLA Baddam Balreddy, organising secretary Mantra Srinivas. (NSS)
