Modi Insensitive To T Issues — We Will Stall LS: Kavitha

Telangana MPs will raise the issue of High Court bifurcation in Parliament winter session commencing on July 21, Nizamabad MP K Kavitha today said.
Talking to mediapersons here on Monday, Kavitha lamented that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was insensitive to Telangana issues and not acting swiftly on bifurcation of the High Court and officials. If the Centre wants to continue alliance with the Telugu Desam party, the BJP would lose support from Telangana people, she said. Kavitha said the TRS leaders will stall proceedings in both Houses of Parliament and mount pressure on the Centre for the speedy division of the Hyderabad High Court and bifurcation of the officials. She attributed the alliance between Telugu Desam and BJP Government at the Centre to the prevailing situation in Telangana State.
She further alleged that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been hatching conspiracies against the Telangana State and causing hurdles to its projects. She expressed discontent over the Centre’s negligence on the issue even as Andhra Pradesh Government was continuously trying to sabotage bifurcation of the Court. Though one year elapsed after bifurcation of the State, the Centre was still dilly dallying on the crucial issue of bifurcation of the High Court, she bemoaned. Non-division of the High Court was leading to a sort of uncertainty in the State and people were being put to much inconvenience, she added.
Finding fault with the Left parties for crying foul on the TRS Government, Kavitha sought to know whether the leaders of the Left parties cannot see the problems of the poor and deprived classes in Andhra Pradesh. The Left parties should wage a similar fight against the AP government to resolve Anganwadi workers’ issue, she suggested. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was committed for Telangana development on all fronts, she said, adding that KCR brought about Telangana State and would also shoulder responsibility to develop the State.
