Mohammed Ali Shabbir demands CBI probe in Deccan Medical College and Darusalam Bank

Hyderabad: Addressing a press conference yesterday, Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabbir told that Akbaruddin Owaisi has given a proof of his contacts with Narendra Modi by announcing CBI probe for the institutions managed by MIM.

It is a well known fact that CBI functions under the direct control of PM. Mr. Shabbir welcomed his announcement and said that Mr. Akbaruddin Owaisi would stick to his demand. Mr. Shabbir also demanded that irregularities committed in Darusalam Bank and Deccan Medical College should also be probed by CBI.

Mr. Shabbir alleged that Darusalam Bank is involved in money laundering through Hawala System. RBI issued several notices to Darusalam Bank for violating the rules. He asked Akbaruddin Owaisi in the nomination form for 2009 elections, Mr. Akbaruddin Owaisi submitted an affidavit that he owns assets worth Rs. 3 crore. After five years when he filed the nomination paper for 2014 elections, he mentioned that he owns Rs. 17 crore. This matter has to be probed. Mr. Shabbir demanded Mr. Owaisi to clarify his profession through which he is getting this huge income.

Mr. Shabbir alleged that MIM floated the candidates in Maharashtra Assembly elections on the wealth of Narendra Modi. He asked the reason after sitting in the lap of the Congress for 10 years, MIM started liking BJP.

On asking about criticisms raised against Ms. Sonia Gandhi and Mr. Rahul Gandhi, Mr. Shabbir told that what else could be expected from a person who abuses his father and brother. He told that he has enough evidence which he would produce before the public at the appropriate time. He also knows the art of mud spreading but the sophisticated civil society does not allow for personal attacks.

He recollected that when he was struggling for getting 4% reservations from Muslims during the tenure of office of Dr. YSR, MIM opposed it. He further told that where did he get money for the construction of a palace at Shashtripuram on a four acre land? He pointed out that Government allows Deccan Medical College Management to fill 60 seats under management quota whereas 90 seats have to be filled up on the basis of merit. It is a well known fact that Deccan Medical College management did not give free admission to any poor student so far. If it has been done, it should be made public.
