Naidu, Jagan indulging in cheap politics: Talasani

Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Tuesday lashed out at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and YSRCP Chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy for indulging in “dirty politics” for political mileage on Telangana projects. “We will not keep quiet if Naidu and Jagan target Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao”, he warned.

Talking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, Srinivas Yadav accused the Andhra leaders of trying to gain politically by mud-slinging at the TRS Government. The politics in Andhra Pradesh took a murkier turn as Naidu and Jagan were sparring like never before, he charged. “These two leaders should refrain from talking about irrigation projects of Telangana for their political gains. The people are closely watching the political scenario and expressing ire at non development of the State”, he said.

The Minister suggested that Naidu and Jagan stop “cheap” politics by talking about Telangana projects which are old and approved by Brijesh Kumar Tribunal. Their efforts are aimed at misguiding the people of the State from actual problems by raking up irrigation projects in Telangana”, he said. He also alleged that Naidu’s comments and Jagan’s Jala Deeksha against irrigation projects will not fetch them any public support. The TRS government was committed to complete the projects despite hurdles being created. (NSS)
