Naidu, Jagan talk TS projects for politics: KTR

Khammam: Minister for Industries and IT K Tarakarama Rao today accused AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and YSRCP Chief Y S Jaganmoha Reddy of indulging in political game for supremacy in the State.

During his election campaigning at some of villages for Palair by-poll in Khammam district along with candidate and minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao and others, KTR launched a blitzkrieg against on Naidu and Jagan for taking the name of Telangana irrigation projects. “They are taking our projects for their political supremacy unmindful of people’s woes and problems need to be addressed in Andhra Pradesh”, he alleged. The YSRCP leaders who joined TRS will get suitable place, he said and added that the TRS government was keen on completing drinking water and lakes revival schemes in the near future. “Comments of Andhra leaders cannot deter our plans to irrigate about six lakh acres in the district through Godavari waters”, KTR vowed.

The TRS is all set to complete the projects in short time which the previous governments failed to do so in six decades. Palair reservoir will be connected with Sitharama project to stabilize crops in four mandals, KTR said.

Tummala flays Cong, TD

Tummala Nageshwar Rao said Andhra parties like the Congress and the Telugu Desam have gone defunct and cannot do justice to people. The TRS will only develop the State, he said and hoped that the TRS will get the mandate in the bypoll. He said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was determined to bring under ayacut the crops which so far gone dry for want of waters caused by deliberate negligence of the previous governments, he charged. Tummala also said the ruling party will have clean sweep in Khamam district along with other districts in 2019 general elections. Only the TRS will cater to the expectations of the people as national parties and TD can do nothing, he added. (NSS)
