TDP leader Nara Lokesh, son of chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, today filed his nomination papers for MLC post to be elected from MLA quota.
He submitted his papers to the Assembly secretary here. Besides Lokesh, TDP candidates Karnam Balram, Pothula Sunita, Dokka Manikya Prasad and Buchala Arjunudu also filed their nomination papers for MLC posts. TDP Andhra Pradesh state president Kala Venkatrao said that all sections have given equal opportunity in MLC posts.
Speaking to media Lokesh said that he will not do anything which would bring bad name to his grand father NTR and father.
Expressing gratitude for selecting him for MLC post within five years after becoming an active member of the party, he said the entire credit goes to party workers.
Lokesh thanked party’s national president Chandrababu Naidu and state president Kala Venkatrao. The TDP leader said he did not have experience to compare himself with others who are in politics.(NSS)
