Nearly 20000 seats vacant in Polytechnic Colleges

After engineering colleges, it’s polytechnic colleges’ turn. A huge number of seats in polytechnic colleges are also lying vacant in the state for the past few years. This year, it is said that more than 18,300 seats in government and private polytechnic colleges across the state remained vacant.

According to details a total of 52,172 seats are available in 220 colleges, while only 33,865 candidates took admission in polytechnic. After the final phase of web counselling nearly 17,000 seats remained vacant in private colleges alone. While the government colleges had only 762 vacant seats.
