Hyderabad: Addressing the valedictory function of 2nd World Unani League Celebrations at Ravindra Bharati, Commissioner of AYUSH, Dr. A. Rajender Reddy told that Hakeem Ajmal Khan was a freedom fighter. He did two important tasks. First he got the people of India freed from the clutches of the British and the second he freed the patients from the ailments through his medicines. He applauded the efforts of Unani medical association and said that it is doing a great service by running 22 charity clinics. He advised the association to extend these facilities to rural areas also since 75% people reside in those areas.
Dr. Haider Yamani, Co-Chairman and Dr. Rahman Khan, General Secretary informed that Commissioner AYUSH released the special souvenir on this occasion. Dr. Meer Yousuf Ali, Additional Director of AYUSH told that the celebrations of second Unani World League in Hyderabad is a welcome gesture. Dr. Vikhar Haider conducted the meeting. Dr. Rahman Khan proposed vote of thanks.
