Nehru says he is quitting YSRCP, advises Jagan to change his style

YSR Congress Party senior leader and MLA Jyothula Nehru on Friday sarcastically hoped there will be some change in party supremo Y S Jaganmohan Reddy after he resigned from the party. He also said he would be “cycling” after a week.

Speaking to mediapersons here today, Nehru said he spared no efforts for strengthening the party even by swallowing insults. He also made it clear that he never aspired for the post of PAC chairman. Stating that he never thought of joining the ruling TDP, he said the people of his constituency were compelling to mount cycle in the interest of development of the constituency.

Stating that he was not enamored of posts though they came to him several times, Nehru complained that there was no collective leadership and collective thoughts in the YSR Congress Party. That was the reason why he changed his mind to change the party. He also observed that the YSRCP has miserably failed to develop into a matured political party. (NSS)
