Hands-on network support experience
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Strong basics of networking knowledge
Strong understanding and experience in concepts like VLSM, STP/RSTP
Hands-on experience in configuration/troubleshooting of Cisco Routers ,switches, Wireless access points
Experience with configuring/troubleshooting firewalls from multiple vendors
Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools like Nagios, Cacti
Linux/Windows administration skills will be an advantage
Good understanding of information/network security concepts
Industry certifications like CCNA, MCSA, RHCSA will be beneficial
