Nikhat Zareen from Nizamabad is the first woman boxer from the state to qualify for the World Championship at Kazakhstan.
The World boxing Championship will be held from April 19 to 27. Keeping in view some impressive performances in the recent past, including gold in the All-India inter-university meet, Nationals, Nikhat Zareen was given a special cash incentive by the Telangana government of about Rs. 50 lakh last August for her World Championship.
