Hyderabad: Former Chief of UNI Urdu Service and noted Urdu Journalist of New Delhi, Mr. Anees Jamai passed away in New Delhi yesterday. He was 63. He was suffering from Kidney problem. He is survived by two sons and a daughter. Right from the inception of Urdu service in UNI in 1992, he continued to head it for 21 years. He retired in 2013 as the Chief of Urdu Service of UNI. Earlier, he was associated with Pratap Daily from which he had started his journalistic career.
