Odisha: 19 Maoist supporters surrender in Malkangiri

Malkangiri (Odisha) : As many as 19 Maoists supporters surrendered before the police in Malkangiri district of Odisha on Saturday.

The Maoists were active members of Darva Division, which is a Maoist organization. Many cases have been registered against them at different police stations in the state.

Malkangiri Sub-Divisional Police Officer Sandeep Madkar and 202 Cobra battalion – Assistant Chief Commandant- Sudhendra Singh and Babu Singh assured that the rehabilitation of the reformed Maoists would be taken care of by the government. (ANI)
