Bhubaneswar: A nine-year old drummer, Abhishek Sahoo, recently mesmerized his audience with his drum beating talent at an event in Odisha.
The event was organised to felicitate Sahoo on being chosen in the Britain’s Got Talent, reality television show.
Sahoo has been playing drums since the age of three and has taken part in around 80 shows. He has been awarded for 30 events till now.
“I was always interested since my childhood. I have been inspired by Sivamani. I have done 80 shows. I had an interest in going into Britain Got Talent,” said Sahoo.
Sahoo can play the drums and the xylophone in Hindi, English, Odia, Punjabi and Chinese.
Sahoo also donates some of his earnings from the events that he participates in on educating underprivileged kids.
“Being a child, he thinks of donating his income which we as adults do not do,” said organiser Rajlakshmi Das.
Sahoo is to leave for the United Kingdom on November 6. (ANI)
