Joint Collector of Hyderabad District Bharati Hollikeri informed that there was no need for people to submit fresh applications to get a 2BHK house under the new weaker section housing scheme of Telangana Government.
Hollikeri said that all the applications received in the past were valid and would be considered for sanction of 2BHK house under the new scheme. He said all the applications submitted in the past would be placed on the concerned website for verification. He said only new applicants need to give a fresh application.
The Joint Collector said that the allotment of houses would be done on the basis of seniority. He also informed that under Mee Kosan scheme, so far 1059 applications have been received. Of them 612 have been accepted and 287 were rejected. (INN)
