Accounts Payable function at Bridge International Academies
The Accounts Payable department is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payment of vendor invoices, employee expense claims, reconciliation of advances and payroll, statutory payments, intercompany transactions. Currently our office in Nairobi operates accounts payable for Kenya, Uganda, India, UK & US whereas in-country AP teams are present in Nigeria, Liberia. The AP teams use MS Dynamics NAV for processing invoices and posting accounting entries, submit payment requests in CitiDirect, Local Banks and mobile payment gateway Mpesa.
Brief Job Description
Must be expert in AP invoice processing function.
Processing supplier Invoices on a daily basis, which includes both PO and Non PO invoices.
Must be detail oriented and accurate in processing.
Familiar with the various taxes that apply to AP invoices.
Work closely with Business partners and vendors to resolve invoice holds on a regularly and timely basis to avoid delay in payments.
Adhere to AP Policy and Procedures.
Receiving and responding to vendor enquires and reconcile vendor account statements and assists in other general accounting duties
Supplier statement reconciliations, aged creditor reports and pending item reviews as delegated by Supervisor
Salary:INR 2,00,000 – 2,25,000 P.A.
