The Role
Safety Engineer
Our client is one of the world’s largest Oil and Gas Company’s and a world leader in Exploration & Production, Refining & Petrochemicals and distribution.
The Safety Engineer will be part of the Loss Prevention Department (LPD) and will provide ongoing support to organization to assist in implementing the Safety Management System and in meeting safety objectives and expectations which includes assisting proponent organizations in developing safety processes related to risk assessment and management, safety training, asset integrity, safe operations, contractor safety, emergency preparedness, incident investigations, etc. You will be conducting field inspections of onshore and offshore oil/gas facilities, project construction sites and drilling rigs including participating in various safety studies/activities, such as: PHAs, HAZOPs, JSAs, incident investigations, compliance reviews.
You will be working for one of the worlds’ most prominent Oil & Gas and chemical companies which offers excellent tax free salary.
Requirements
You must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering with minimum 10 years of experience in hydrocarbon, petrochemicals, or related industries, including safety. Your experience should include operations and maintenance, plant engineering, safety program development and process safety.
