Hyderabad: It has been reported that some pages of gangster Nayeem’s diary are missing. It is suspected that pages might have contained names of some top police cops and political leaders.
Investigations of Nayeem’s encounter case took a new turn after 5 police cops were suspended and 25 police officials were slapped notices. Police officials and political leaders are once again spending sleepless nights, who were thinking that the case has gone cold.
According to reliable sources, a former DGP is pressurising to dismiss the case by just servicing notice, in order to protect police cops. However SIT is all set to go to deep into the case. Sources said that 3 MLAs and 2 MLCs besides some local leaders of Bhongir, were found to be having links with Nayeem and investigative agency is keeping close tabs on them.
Special Investigation Team (SIT) which is investigating the case has revealed that some pages of Nayeem’s diary have gone missing. It is being closely examined, how many police officers touched the diary, how the pages went missing, who removed the pages and whose direction?
