Pakistan’s FIA arrests NADRA chief over corruption charges

Islamabad: Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested the Director General of National Database and Regulatory Authority (NADRA), Tahir Akram, over corruption charges.

He has been accused of corruption while renting buildings for the organization.

Geo News quoted the FIA as saying that the NADRA chief has caused a loss of Rs30 million to the public exchequer. (ANI)
