Hyderabad: MIM has objected to the construction of a multi-level flyover at Owaisi Hospital junction that was proposed by the GHMC under the Strategic Road Development Plan. It must be recalled that earlier MIM had also opposed to the Metro Rail route at the place.
As reported by Deccan Chronicle, during a meeting on March 22, MIM legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi opposed the proposal to construct the flyover at Owaisi Hospital following which the GHMC drew up alternative options. However the MLA sought further changes and proposed an underpass. He also suggested a uni-directional underpass at Midhani bus depot junction.
GHMC has instructed the contractor to prepare general arrangement drawings according to the suggestions made by the MLA. After finalising them, the GHMC will send the plan to the state government for approval.
