Humor, pun, sarcasm and satire were at the pinnacle in the topical mushaira organised under auspices of Siasat Daily. The mushaira was held as part of the Muslim Reservation Movement launched by Siasat Daily aiming at raising voice for Muslim reservations and creating awareness among Muslims. News editor Siasat Mr. Amer Ali Khan presided over the mushaira. Over 30 poets recited their poetry at the mushaira held at Mahboob Husain Jigar Hall.

Mr. Mohammed Nooruddin Ameer received thunder appreciation on his poetry in which he warned the government that it will be ousted from power if it doesn’t fulfill its promise to Muslims

Organisor mushaira Mr. Ashfaq Asfi also gathered appreciation when he recited revolutionary couplets on reservations

Tahaffuzat ke bare me aaj bolein ge
Mr. Raheem Ramesh recited two different poems and kept the audience in awe and excitement

Badtar Dalit se bhi hai halat batayi thi
Mishra ne bhi to is ki haqeeqat jatai thi
Phir kis liye Sudhir commission bithadiya
Dr. Hadi Munazza also gathered appreciation from audience.
Famous poets who also rendered their poetry in the mushaira include Mr. Safi Iqbal, Mr. Shakeel Hyder, Mr. Yousuf Ravish, Mr. Haleem Babar, Qari Anees Ahmed Quader Sharfi Anees, Mr. Baqer Tahseen, Mr. Khaja Fareeduddin Sadiq, Mr. Anees Farooqui Anees, Mr. Zahed Haryanvi, Mr. Zafar Farooqui, Mr. Hansmukh Hyderabadi and Mr. Zayeem Zumro.
