Poor Muslims get Ramzan gifts in TS

To mark the holy Ramzan festival,  the TRS Government distributed clothes to the poor Muslims across the state. Besides giving 500 gift packets,   each mosque was offered Rs. one  lakh for conducting Ifthar Dinner party in the state. In all districts ministers, leaders and officials concerned participated in the event and distributed the clothes among the poor Muslim peoples.

As directed by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao,  the program of clothes distribution taken up on a massive scale. The ministers and leaders handed over the gift packets comprising two pairs of clothes on the occasion of Ramzaan Festival. About 800 mosques were spruced up on the occasion.

           

The officials made arrangements for distributing at least 500 gift packets at each masjid. Minister for Energy, G Jagdish Reddy has participated in the programme and distributed 6500 gift packets to poor Muslims. In Medak district, Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy distributed clothes among the poor Muslims. At Manuguru in Bhadradri Kothagudem district, MLA Payam Venkateshwarlu distributed gift packets and  in Wanaparty District, State Planning Commission Vice President Singhi Reddy Niranjan Reddy distributed the gifts. Similarly, MLA Sanjeeva Rao distributed the gift packets at MPDO office in Vikarabad. In Mahbubabad district MLA Banoth Shanker Nayak has distributed the clothes  at Kesamuddam, Nelli Kuduru, Gudur Mandals. (NSS)
