Hyderabad: A delegation led by President KCR Seva Dalam, Mr. Mohammed Ameeruddin arrived on the last day of public hearing of BC Commission and submitted written memorandum in favour of 12 pc Muslim reservations while demanding that the commission submits its report at the earliest and does justice with the Muslims of Telangana.
Later speaking to media Mr Mohammed Ameeruddin said at first Chief Minister formed Sudhir Committee to fulfill his promise to Muslims. The committee also favoured 9 to 12 pc reservations to Muslims in its report. Showing seriousness over the issue, Telangana Government also formed BC Commission, he said.
Mr. Ameeruddin hoped that Muslims would get 12 pc reservations in every field on the basis of the report prepared by BC Commission. He hailed Siasat’s campaign for Muslim reservations and lauded Mr. Amer Ali Khan’s efforts who painstakingly run the campaign and created awareness regarding reservations among the Muslims of Telangana. Campaign’s success was evident by the overwhelming response to BC Commission hearing.
