Private colleges refuse permission to conduct EAMCET

The Joint Action Committee (JAC) of educational institutions has decided to withdraw permission to use their institutions as exam centres for Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET). The JAC submitted a memorandum to TSCHE chairman T Papi Reddy and unequivocally stated that unless the government withdraws its decision to conduct inspections, the colleges will remain closed thus affecting the conduct of all the examinations.

JAC leader including Gautam Rao (Engineering Colleges), S Prabhakar Reddy (B.Ed Colleges) Parmeshwar and Ramna Reddy (Degree Colleges) and K Ram Das (Pharmacy Colleges) told that inspections by police teams is creating panic among few colleges. JAC leaders also demanded that the government release 3000 Cr of fee reimbursement of the last two years before conducting inspection.
