Private operators allotted Haj quota of 2531

The Union Ministry of Minorities Affairs has allotted a Haj Quota of 2m531 seats to the Private Tour Operators (PTOs) of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, disclosed Telangana State Haj committee Special Officer Prof. S. A. Shukoor and said that 3,413 pilgrims would perform Haj 2017 through the TSHC.

Prof. Shukoor appealed the intending Haj pilgrims to verify the genuine Haj Operators before booking their seat for Haj pilgrimage. He said that in the past there had been several cases of fraud and cheating to the gullible and innocent pilgrims by the bogus operators. He said that the list of the PTOs who were allotted quota for Haj 2017 may be verified   on the web site of the PTOs welfare Association www.hutowah.com besides web site of Ministry of Minority   Affairs www.minorityaffairs.gov.in and the web site of Telangana State Haj Committee www.telanganastatehajcommittee.com. He said that altogether 33 PTOs were allotted Haj Quota in two categories with 105 seats in Category I and 50 seats each in category II. (INN)
