Python caught in Gurgaon house, released in Aravalli hills

A 13-foot-long python was caught in a farmhouse here on Thursday, and later released in the forests of the Aravalli hills, officials said.

Officials from the wildlife department and a team from NGO Umang arrived at the spot after Bijender Singh, the owner of the farmhouse in Baliyawas village on the Gurgaon-Faridabad road, complained that the python ate three pet rabbits.

The team later released the python in the Aravalli hills.
